A Calculator that talks? Well, yes! Mac users rejoice!

Did you know that your Mac Calculator can talk to you?

Speech by default in Calculator is deactivated. You’ll have to activate it if you want your calculator to talk.

Launch Calculator (located in your Applications Folder). Once open you will be presented with the following view of your calculator:

To enable Speech, look at the top bar of your Mac, click Speech and check the options you want to enable.

Speak Button Pressed speaks the calculator button you’ve pressed on either the onscreen display, your keyboard, or keypad.

Speak Result speaks the answer to the equation you provided to the calculator to calculate.

This feature is especially handy when you’ve to do a lot of data entry or calculation work and don’t have time to keep looking at the monitor to verify the numbers you’ve been entering.

Ha-ha! Calculator + Siri. Would be nice if such functionality will realize in Numi, since it allows mix calculations with text.
