Did you ever feel sad that you forgot someone’s birthday. I can answer that obvious question : Yes! We’ll do forget birthdays once in a while. If you’re a pretty good (or rather bad) at forgetting birthdays, just like me – well, you have a chance for a makeover. For Mac users, they have a nice and simple feature to always remember birthdays !

Thanks to the Address Book, you’ll never forget a birthday (at least the important ones). All you need to do is to open the Address Book and add birthdays of your friends (especially the important ones).

  1. Open Address Book and go to a contact to which you’d like to add a birthday.
  2. Pull down the Card menu and choose Birthday from the Add Field option.

  1. Open iCal
  2. Go to iCal -> Click Preferences
  3. Check the checkbox next to Show Birthdays Calendar
