My day usually starts with opening web browser with default home page as google. Google likes to give us a new logo known as doodle quite often and when sometimes I like the logo , I hover my mouse over it to get the details about it.
What is a Doodle anyway?
Doodles are known as decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries , and the lives of famous artists and scientists. It started way back in 1998 when google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin played with the corporate logo to indicate their attendance at the Burning Man festival in Nevada desert. Till now google has released 300 google for U.S and 700 internationally.
Google doodles have made searching on google more fun and enjoyable for its users worldwide. Google know that many users excitedly anticipate the release of each new dodle and some even collect them.
Google has a team of designers who make these google logo designs that you see on google.com
Google also organizes competition like google4doodle where it invites kids from k-12 to create their own logos and participate in google logo design contest. If have a hidden designer inside you and have a great idea for logo, go ahead make your own google logo and share it with google’s designing team. Google fans who have designed google logo using any google logo maker can email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who decides the winner of doodle competition?
Google invites guest judges like Jim Davis ( Creator of Garfield comic strip), Evan lysacek (Gold Medalist & World Champion, Ice Skating) , Michael Phelps (Gold Medalist & World Champion, Swimming), Nicole Stott(NASA Astronaut),Beverly Cleary (Author, Children’s Books) and many other prominent guests.
