Google Plus Tips : How to Translate Posts in Google+

Posted by Mayank on September 1, 2011 in Google,Google+

English is a widely known and acceptable language, but there are several countries, where English is not well spoken. There are several translate tools available, with Google Translate being one of those popular ones. In order for a social media to be successful, it needs to cross the barrier of diverse languages.

This is what Google has tried to achieve with the introduction of a Chrome app : Google Translate for Google+. This application will be able to help a lot of Google+ users wanting an easier way to understand posts written in other languages. Google Translate for Google+ is basically a Chrome extension of Google Translate itself and it can automatically translate any post or comment into more than 50 languages.

To do the installation of this extension, click here. Once you’ve installed the extension, refresh Google+ and you’ll see Translate links next to posts and comments. Click the links to instantly see translations. Now, you can even enjoy comments made in non-English languages 🙂

Let’s see how it works :

1. There is a post made in non-English language. Click Translate.
