Google Wallet launched Today [New]

Google has finally launched first version of Google wallet app to Sprint. Google Wallet is an app which makes your phone your wallet which can be used with Citi, MasterCard, Sprint and First Data. Using Google Wallet you can pay and save using your phone and near field communication.

Citi MasterCard Credit card and Google Prepaid Card are currently integrated with Google Wallet which allows you to pay with any of these services which can be later funded with any of your existing plastic credit card. Google has also announced a $10 free bonus to the Google Prepaid Card for anyone who set it up before the end of the year.

Google has already started to work with Visa, Discover and American Express whose card will be read by Google wallet in near future. Main aim of Google Wallet is to get users to add all their cards to Google Wallet and hence replace the traditional wallet. Currently supporting Sprint Nexus S 4G , Google wallet will be extended to other phones soon. Watch the below video for explanation regarding this.
