Almost every major brand has a Facebook Page using which Brands and Fans can interact with each other.  Facebook Page admins can communicate with their Fans via Private messages too but this is not a default feature and needs to be enabled under Page settings.

If you’re a Page Admin, here are the steps that you need to follow to enable Message button on your Facebook Page Timeline. By default whenever any Fan visits your Facebook Page option to send Message is not shown. Below is what will be visible before Messaging is enabled.

Now Go to Edit Page Settings and then navigate to Manage Permissions tab. Scroll down and click on “Show Message Button on ‘YourPageName“.

Save changes and go to your Facebook Page now. You will see a new Message button under your Facebook Timeline Cover Photo.
