How to Set Up Multiple Users on a PC

Multiple user setup on a computer is a good option to keep your documents, pictures and assignments organized. Also, it reduces, if not remove the chances of accidentally deleting or overwriting other’s document.

Multiple user stip on a PC is simple and straight forward. Let’s see how to do so.

How to Set Up Multiple Users on a PC

1. Click the Windows logo at the left hand bottom of your screen and go to the Control Panel.

2. If you’re using the Classic View, click “User Accounts.” If you are using the new control panel that is the standard in since Microsoft Vista, click the “Add or remove user accounts” text under the “User Accounts and Family Safety” heading.

3. You will now be in Manage Accounts section, where you can perform changes to existing accounts. To create a new account – go to “Manage another account”

4. Now you can click create a new account as shown below.

5. You can even go and enable parental controls for the account using the same screen. Parental Controls include time limits to using computer, controlling which games can be played and allowing or blocking specific applications or programs.
