iSplash Review – Get Creative with Photos

iSplash is a Mac app developed by T-bone and has been rated as one of the top Mac apps of 2011. It was ranked 2nd in the paid apps for Photography category and has Mac OS X Lion Support. With iSplash, you can turn any photograph in to grayscale and chose parts of it to be restored to the original color.

iSplash is usually available for $4.99, but is right now available for $0.99 at 80% discount, which makes it makes a great deal. iSplash supports the following formats : PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF and BMP files.

To use iSplash, you need to get the application from the Mac store : iSplash in Mac Store

Once you have installed the app, you need to select a photo and turn it into grayscale by clicking “Gray Splash” and doing it all over the picture. Now, you can select the “Color Splash” option and you get a brush, which you use in different parts of the picture and those parts will become colored. There is option to undo and redo any mistakes you do. Also, for finer touch, you can zoom in and zoom out for particular areas of the photograph.
