Everyone likes Fans and want to interact with them more frequently to build up a good relationship. Having large number of Facebook Page Fans establishes the brand of any Product/Website/Public Figure etc. On Facebook Page, users can interact with Page posts by liking, commenting on the post and by default Fans can also upload photos and videos on the Facebook Page’s wall. When a Page has large number of Fans then Page Admin might restrict posting abilities of their Fans. Anything posted on the Page’s wall represents the brand image and Page being a public forum, if any explicit photo or video is posted by a fan then it might spoil the brand image.
As a Page Admin, you can control the posting ability of your Facebook Fans based on 4 ways
- User can write or post content on the wall
- User can add photos
- User can add tags to photos by Page
- User can upload videos
To enable or disable any of these settings, Go to your page and click on ‘Edit Page’ button on the upper right corner of the Page. Then Go to “Manage Permissions” and un-check the settings as shown below.
Once you’re done with your selection, click on ‘Save Changes’. If you set the restrictions as shown above then your Facebook Page Fans will be able to post on your wall and can also add tags to photos by your page. Their posting ability for photos and videos will be restricted and they can only view photos and videos uploaded by the page.
