Safari Address Bar Missing ?

I was working on my Mac and I realized the Safari address bar missing. Interesting, right?

You might have also come across such a situation. You used the address bar to go to a website and all of sudden, this funny address bar goes missing!

When the Safari Address Bar goes missing, the webpage looks something like below.

I could not recall anything in particular and I ended up concluding that most likely I would have pressed a shortcut key, which made it disappear. In my case, also missing was the Google search box. Now let’s get on to the task of getting back at least the missing safari address bar. If you’re in a similar situation, you need to do the following :

  1. Look at the top of your monitor, locate and press “View”
  2. If you did “Hide Toolbar”, you will see the option to “Show Toolbar”. If you do not see this option, the next solution is most likely the one, which will work for you.
  3. Select “Customize Toolbar” from the drop-down.
  4. Press the default set and drag it to the toolbar.

Your missing address bar is now back and also back is your missing Google search box !
