Siri Tip – How to Make Siri Perform Better

Siri has received a lot of favorable response and is considered a great reason to buy iPhone 4S. Siri has shown a lot of intelligence and performs much better than any other voice recognition software we’ve seen till date. In fact, Siri is much more than a voice recognition software. It understands, performs and responds to tasks much better.

Siri has trouble understanding non-native speakers of the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, or Germany. We’ve been told that Siri grows with you – the more you use it, the better it understands you. So, let’s see what you can do to make Siri perform better.

How to Make Siri Perform Better.

1. Make sure that you have the appropriate language selected. Go to Settings -> General -> Siri -> Language and make sure or make changes if needed.

2. Sometimes, Siri will make a slight mistake in doing what you say. In those cases, instead of repeatedly asking Siri and making it understand, you can edit the command Siri needs to carry out. For example, I asked Siri to “call Larry Page”, however, due to my thick accent, it was not able to do so properly. It instead understood it as “Call where Larry Pay”. So, I’ve to just tap on the command Siri is about to carry out and it gives me an option to edit and once I’m done editing – it carries the command.
