There are rumors that Amazon is working on new lines of Kindles. It is rumored that Amazon will be releasing 3 new Kindle Fire tablets this September 2013. These new line of Kindle Fire tablets will replace the ones already available in the market in an attempt to attract more potential buyers through a refurbished hardware.
Last fall, Amazon cut the price of the Kindle Fire and introduced the original Kindle Fire HD with a 7″ and 8.9″ display. Following the same trend, the company is readying new Kindle Fire tablets with upgraded specs rather than completely new products, with more power and better quality display.
The new Kindle Fire will be equipped with a same 7″, but this time with a slightly higher resolution, raised from 1024×600 pixels to 1280×800 pixels. The screen of the 7″ Kindle Fire HD will get an upgrade from 1280×800 pixels to 1920×1200 pixel. The current version of the 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD will now be equipped with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels.
Amazon is expected to announce its new Kindle Fire in September, but is yet to be confirmed. So, where does it leave us – if we were to buy a Kindle today, irrespective of whether you plan to buy a Kindle for yourself or you plan to gift a Kindle.
What is the Best Kindle
Without a second thought, a Kindle product, which we will recommend to you (whether for yourself or gift) is Kindle Paperwhite. Kindle Paperwhite is an absolutely stunning and gorgeous Kindle. Kindle Paperweight is just like love at first sight. It looks so much better, it feels so much better – it is just awesome! It is our #1 choice in Kindle family.
Kindle Fire HD is another product we like, but we would rather recommend you to wait for a couple of months and get the newer version of Kindle Fire HD, which is likely to come with better screen resolution and better processing speed.
