What is Windows Sync Center?
Synchronization, better known as Sync is the process of keeping multiple versions of the same file matched with each other irrespective of the platforms or severs it is accessed from. If you add, change, or delete a file in one location, then Windows will replicate the same action to all other versions of the same file.
Devices Supported by Windows Sync Center?
You can add mobile devices like portable music players, digital cameras, smartphones & tablets. You can also sync with offline files i.e. files stored in a network folder.
How to Ceate a Sync Partnership?
1. Turn on the device you want to create a sync partnership with and connect it to your computer, either via a USB cable or wirelessly.
2. Launch Sync Center by typing Sync in the Search box.
3. Once Sync Center is open, click on Set up new sync partnerships. Select the device you want to sync with and click Set up on the toolbar.
4. To sync immediately, click View sync partnerships, click your device in the list of sync partnerships, and then, on the toolbar, click Sync.
How to End a Sync Partnership?
Open Sync Center, right-click the device you want to end sync partnership with and then click Delete.
