How to change the color of YouTube Player?

YouTube has made a change to the default theme of its embedded player. Not many people know are aware about this change but since yesterday i.e. 10th August , all embedded YouTube videos will have a dark theme for their YouTube Player. Dark player was finalized after months of design, research and experimentation and now will be default for all embedded videos.

How to get the lighter player theme for YouTube embedded videos?

Are you not happy because your website lighter theme doesn’t match with this new look and also wondering “how to change the color of YouTube player”. Don’t worry because to address such situation, YouTube has provided an option where you can choose to display lighter theme of YouTube player to match the color of your website. It would just need a small change in the code while embedding video.

For e.g. default embedded code for the above video is as shown below
