Facetime has been released for the Mac as well and you can now video chat with friends to and from your desktop or laptop as well as your iPhone4 or iPod Touch. What you need to do to call a iPhone4 or iPod Touch from a Mac is that you need to use Safari browser for the purpose. In Safari’s address bar, type in one of the following URLs:

FaceTime is Apple’s video calling feature between 2 devices which support FaceTime. FaceTime is a feature which came with iPhone 4 and is now available on the iPod Touch models as well. Though many of the Apple products work seamless and do not cause any issue to the users (unlike Windows), many of the users have reported this issue where they got the message “FaceTime – Waiting for Activation”.
When I bought my iPhone 4 a
Since I got the iPhone 4, making Facetime calls has been one of the regular activities. However, what has been limited the use of Facetime is the unavailability of facetime on 3gs. Facetime was launched with the iPhone4 and is missing on all the previous versions of iPhone, which means that facetime on 3gs, facetime on 3g etc. is a feature which is unavailable and cannot be used.
In order to use facetime, either the users need to be on iPhone 4 o
This thanksgiving, I bought a new iPod Touch 8GB and thought of testing it out before gifting it to my elder sister. Everything worked smooth as expected until I tried to test out Facetime. I created a new Apple account for my sister (she did not own a single Apple product till date and hence, did not have an Apple account yet). I updated the contacts in my iPhone 4 to add the my sister’s new Apple id and then I added myself as first contac
Now-a-days Mac comes installed with a version of Quicktime, which is Quicktime Player, also referred as Quicktime X.
If you want to upgrade to Quicktime Pro, you need to have Quicktime 7 (as you can notice that it is a lower version that Quicktime X).
If you try to download Quicktime 7 from Apple website and install the package, you’d get a message like “can’t be installed on this disk (or any disk) because Quicktime X is alread

Perhaps Steve’s most famous speech was his Stanford Commencement speech in 2005.
You can either watch the video below or read the text
‘You’ve got to find what you love,’ Jobs says
This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.

I found this interesting picture. These mega pixels were found flowing in the East Villiage. Gawker points out this neat bit of street art found in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, on 9th Street, earlier this week. Unfortunately, the art has since been taken away either by the artist or some enterprising pedestrian.
To all the Basketball fans out there – what can be more motivational than a look at what Jordan said and did:
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career.
I’ve lost almost 300 games.
26 times, I’ve been trusted to make the game winning shot and missed.
I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life.
And that is why I succeed.”

I read this blog post of Tim Ferriss and I’ve to admit that this is one of the best videos I’ve ever seen in my life. Since the first time I saw this, I’ve seen it again and again several times over.
Also, I guess there would not have been a better day to do this blog post on this day of history – Jan 20th, 2009, when Barrack Obama takes over as the president of the USA.
The day and video make it a perfect prescription for
